The Savage Gear Line Thru Trout has been a huge hit for anglers targeting big fish across the world. These baits come pre-rigged on strong wire leaders with treble and stinger hooks. Once a fish takes the bait the hooks dislodge from the bait as it slides up the leader. This means less damage to your bait and less lost fish.
One of the best fishing technique to keep the fish on is the line-thru system. The lures being away from the hook allows you to fight the fish, not the lure. It also prohibits the fish from using the weight of the lure as leverage to get unhooked.

These things get bites from largemouth bass. They absolutely choke them down. The swimming action is amazingly naturalistic. Don’t hesitate to try. I especially like the 8 inch and routinely get 4 to 7 pound bass on them.

I have to first say that Savage gear has some fantastic products. I’m really shocked on what I’m about to say, as you can see in the picture. I have a spot of glitter about the size of a 50-cent piece missing on the bait other side of the bait is perfect, the bait swims well and looks fantastic in the water, but I would expect after paying close to thirty bucks quality control would definitely play into this I am really shocked that Savage Gear had let this product through the line
