I wondered how this Battletek Inshore Spinning | Premiere Luxury Inshore Spinning Rod would arrive, in what condition. I have never had a rod shipped to me, and this one, an expensive one, had me worried. I am pleased to say it arrived in beautiful/excellent condition. They packaged it great, safeguarding all the fragile points. Savage Gear has put together a beautiful rod. This is a 7’2″ Medium Power/Fast action rod that feels almost weightless, equipped with Fuji guides, and recommending an 8-17lb line and 3/8-3/4 oz sinker. They state it is the Perfect Snook, Redfish, and Seatrout Pole. Well, I live in Snook & Redfish country, Florida and I have a pontoon boat from which I do my Inshore fishing. After inspecting and holding this rod, I can not wait to get it out onto my boat for some Snook fishing( my season starts 2/01/21). I will probably marry a 2000 or 3000 reel with 15lb braid. The action with this rod should keep me smiling all day. This is not an inexpensive rod, but if you love your fishing, you will love this rod, it is worth the cost. Just make sure you take care of it.

I have a lot of the high end rods. Some cost two times what this rod costs. I can honestly say that this rod will give those rods some serious competition. Ultra lightweight. Extremely sensitive and will cast a light redfish spoon a country mile. I spooled up with 15lb braid and it seems like a perfect fit for this rod. At first I was worried that solid reel seat would be tough on the hands but it wasn’t. It fits perfectly in the hand and has no bumps or ridges to dig into your palm. Also has plenty of backbone to set the hook and pull in larger fish. I will definitely be adding a couple more battletek rods to my boat.

First time hearing about this brand. Well made and sharp looking. The white color really stands out. Fuji seat and guides. This 1 piece rod will be great for smaller inshore game and would be fun to have onboard for some larger fish and a great time. Not inexpensive by any means, but the price reflects the quality in my opinion.
